Arthur was trying not to bitch slap Alfred as he ground his teeth together. He had put up with the American's crap all day, and all he wanted to do was go home and drink a nice cup of tea and maybe do a bit of embroidery.
"And then, I was like ' Yo dude! You forgot to put sugar in my coffee!'" America said, in his all too loud voice.
America began laughing as if that was the funniest thing since, well, ever. England growled with irritation. The American went to slap his large thighs in laughter but instead bashed his fingers on the table. His jaw flapped open and he stared at the jagged edge that he had made on his fingernail
."I.. I broke a nail.. Heroes don't break nails.. BUT I BROKE A NAIL!" He began to wail loudly.
"Bloody hell Alfred! YOU ARE A PRINCESS. I AM A PIRATE, YOU ARE A PRINCESS. A HUGE, WHINY, SISSY PRINCESS." Arthur burst out.
He had stood up and had his hands planted against the table, his arms straight bent slightly and his shoulders tense and square. Alfred looked up at him.
"W-what?" his blue eyes were staring at the English man in disbelief.
"YOU ARE A F**KING PRINCESS. I AM A PIRATE."
And with that last sentence the American clenched his jaw, his lips in a small 'O' of disbelief and his sky blue eyes very wide. Arthur just stared back at him with a small smile curving upwards at the corner of his lips. That was much better than slapping the lad.
