Oh yes, I've loved Giger since I first discovered his books in 1994.
Haven't seen the movie yet, but I probably will, although what I
hear about the film disappoints me.

The studio messed with that a lot, but at least they hired Giger at all, unlike on Aliens and then in Alien: Resurrection they didn't credit him for his design.

Actually James Cameron apologized for his Sin personally with Giger, But Jean Pierre Jeunet forgot about Giger in every possible sense.
