This is fantastic! The overall texture on it I think is a good fit and really adds to it! The contrast of warm and cool colors is wonderful, the composition is also very strong with the negative space in the corners that draw the eyes to the mass in the center.
I think that my only real concern is the business of it, it makes it difficult to discern the details both up close and from a distance. A positive of that is that it keeps the eye busy looking for details, but it is overwhelming at the same time. Then again, I do see how the business of it all is part of the vision of the piece and fits in that aspect, but a drawback at the same time. I think a variation of line thickness would make the details more discernible .
