To me, nostalgia is looking back on a magical past that's free of the cares of today (I should know, I live in the past!)
Reading Edgar Rice Burroughs' "The People That Time Forgot" and watching stuff like Bloody Wednesday, Curse of the Mayans and that Jack Ryan TV show which I only watched the first episode of, but I don't need any more of that
