Description The lost generation can only witness the world through wires and screens. The generation after will be less than they are and count themselves more. This is the age when death is declared obsolete, leaving souls trapped in a two dimensional plane.

A long promised piece previously posted in scraps as this: [link] , and this [link] .

My roommate says it looks like me in my room

So THAT'S what goes on in your room! And all this time i thought you were watching movies! It's another cool piece of work with a really great ominous atmosphere to it!

Tee-Hee! I keep the TV and computer running at all times. Right now I'm watching a Gene Wilder movie called Thursday's Game, probably the most dated movie he was ever in.

That would be the generation today in a nutshell. Who needs sunlight when you got the radiating light off the computor screen?
Internet is good but you have to keep it real or you'll be devoured by it.
Personally i like the internet as much as i hate it.
Sad and truthful concept, sublime execution.

Now hook me up!

Indeed it is.
In many many ways I hate the internet and how lazy it has made me, but I am also addicted to it.

fave thank.

*kicks your roommate*

I like the art/photos on the wall, if art became the only window into the world, art would become too extreme for the eyes, it would overload our senses

Ha! He needed kicking. Yes, the stuff on the walls was really fun for me to do.

I notice the arrow too.

I'm very glad of it This was a trip and a half to draw. I got to mentally survey all the ways a person could die.

The arrow, ah yes It's another thing picked up from our mutual friend Giger

You were my 7th fave and 7th comment on this pic

Hehe yay!

It would make for a good set. If you make your film, try put a room like that in it, somehow hehe. I wonder if anyone else would pick up on that arrow. I'm going to have to include one in a future painting now to see if you spot it too.

I've thought about that actually. It'd be tricky but I'd love to try it. I'd love that, a kind of "Where's Waldo" in higher art.

I once got this, well, it wasn't a comic, it wasn't a novel. I dunno what you'd class it as. But it was called Casket of Souls. From the same camp that came up with all those Fighting Fantasy books that I still like. But the interesting part of it was all the images used in it included hidden symbols, and there was a contest at the time where you'd have to find the symbols to create a special word or phrase, send it off and if you won, you'd get this Casket of Souls model. I never did work out how to find the symbols in most of the artwork. But it always stayed with me as such a cool idea. Imagine a Giger style version of that?

That would be utterly intense. I love a good mystery. I've actually done something like that, and announced it, with a couple of my works. Doing a whole book like that would be great madness.

Win a miniature Cthulhu model if you solve the riddles in the paintings.

Tee-Hee! That'd be pretty good too. I'd almost like to give some mad prize, though, like a night in a specially construcred Giger-esque morgue or something.

It really would. It's a prize I could get into. Giger himself enjoyed making haunted houses so I think it's very fitting.

Maybe this is a representation of what you fear you will become personally. You feel like you're becoming this digital-minded being and can't seem to escape that so you created this tainted Sci-fi image.

It's great, beautifully done.
