I’ve had the honor to write a chapter on digital inking for the new edition of the classic how-to book by Gary Martin “The Art of Comic Book Inking” For the chapter I inked four comic-book pages, using a variety of tools and techniques. I describe my process on a desktop system with a Wacom tablet, as well as on the iPad Pro. I am really proud of the information I was able to include in the book, and I hope it will prove to be useful and encouraging to any aspiring artist on their path to mastering digital inking tools. And I wish to express my gratitude to Gary Martin for the invaluable information he shares in his book, which was and will continue to be the source of inspiration and encouragement throughout all my inking efforts and adventures. He made the skill of a comic book inker enviable and desirable, and the art of comic book inking – loved and respected by innumerable professionals and fans, worthy to strive for excellence in.
