This is the larger version of Friday's art day on Zap!I needed some promo art for a thing, so I drew this up on Sunday and colored it on Monday.
Hope you guys like! It's one of my favorites I've done lately. I really miss drawing the cast in their old clothes, so this was fun for me.

Why as Robot facing us and not the direction of the rest of the crowd? Does he know he's in a picture or something?

Robot refuses to frolic with the rest of the crew.
Also, having a character make eye contact with the viewer draws them in more.

Well, yes. But I figured there was more humor inherient in ignoring the obvious 'Human-sized girl having sex with a spaceship' for the sake of pointing out they're both 'Females'.
It does raise an interesting question of, where do baby spaceships come from if they all go lesbian, tho'.

Well, if they had a dexterous loading crane (more of a claw, I suppose), they could probably put their own baby together without worrying about a male.
I suppose that is the biggest fear of any male, though, so I dare not say that too loud.

... Though, admittedly, if they were going to, it would totally be the Stickles who'd make 'em.

Well, theoretically, MechanoBabies would be a good way to finally get nanotechnology working.
One would figure that each ship would likely stay the same size as it "matured" and, when it went to reproduce itself, would build ships slightly smaller (since most cranes would be inside them, unless you are talking about the cranes in warehouses). Eventually, they would have to develop machines at the nano-level to be able to continue making them inside of themselves.
That is, of course, assuming that the big Mother Ships don't forbid their child craft from reproducing, if the even give them the brains to reproduce in the first place.
And yes. Yes, Stickles would be the ones to start just such a thing.

Now, at what point would the nanomachines get the extra intellectual capacity to work as nanomachines do, which is to say form a whole, large ship? Or whatever else the gooey, watery, oceany wave of deathbots would do?
... I think we might have tripped across what caused Stickle 3 to be blown up, personally.
