This is drawn by Melissa Uran, and colored by me. It was a commission done for someone's player, as she does a lot of the art for the Exalted game line, so they got her for it. I colored it, and there are two versions of this - one is the blue version you see here, and the second is the correct fire aspect version with red and black armour and red tinted skin and hair, with gold fabric. Of the two I like the red more because the warmer colors pop off the screen better, but the mellow blue is nice too.

The reason you can't see the red version is because the person who commissioned the art in the first place likes it more and wants it t himself.

This is done, in all things, Paint Shop Pro, with the start done in pohotoshop just to remove the white from the lines. I'm thinking about taking another drawing and showing the methods I used to get this - I hadn't used the program for coloring a piece in erm...well, years, and had never tried painting with it, thinking like lots of other people have that it's not up to the task. I was happily wrong. This is in PSP 7, as I'm too lazy right now to update my copy to 8 from the website. All in all this took about 6 hours to do, from the start of culling the white from it to the final adjustment of color to the gold on the costume. I use a wacom tablet, but I think that if you were willing to spend about twice as long on it you might be able to do this with a mouse.

Nobody reads these parts anyway so I don't know why I bother explaining, but hey, there you go. I predict this will get about 7 comments, and a total of 158 page views, with maybe one favorite. Let's see if that pans out. Maybe I'll get totally blown out of the water and get a Daily Deviation or something *highly unlikely*
