Description
Since JosephB22 was kind enough to invite other artists on this site to colorize his lineart, I decided to take up the invitation and colorize his "Mara Jade - Deadly 2" piece. This is the first time I've ever colored in another person's drawing and it was a bit of a challenge even though I used Paint Shop Pro X and Photoshop Elements 7. The real headache was those lightsaber blades. I couldn't do it via Joseph's tutorial and had to draw and color them in manually, almost pixel by pixel. Very time consuming, but worth the attempt, as no Jedi Knight is complete without functioning lightsabers. I know I have the color of the blades wrong, but I view this as merely practice.I have signed the drawing with JosephB22's name next to mine, and it's only fair since he's the original artist. If I colorize more of his lineart, his name will go on the piece with mine.

Thanks, sweetie. Her lightsabers were hard to do. I just finished a drawing of her husband Luke Skywalker, and needless to say, his lightsaber was a challenge as well.
