Finally finished this piece which took me most of my free time for the last three weeks (about 80 hrs total). Reference used. I had great time painting one of the best scenes from Iron Man 2... Scarlett Johansson is so charismatic in the Black Widow suit !!! I hope you will enjoy viewing it. Thank you very much for your comment and sorry for the late reply but I must say I'm quite busy those days. Well, to answer your question I basically use Photoshop, and also Painter in some occasions, though not for this piece which was entirely done with PS.

I just love it! You captured her pose and expression perfectly, the details are stunning and the colours and shading on the pic looks so realistic that one believes it is a photo. Just epic work!

I really liked this one.
It looks like in some parts that was made in some kind of 3d software!
I think that to improve, just fix the hair on the right in her face. : D

Great work! You're definitely getting that pho-realistic feel. Nice study.
The only thing I'd say is, for a study, 80 hours is QUITE some time. Because practices like this are more for understanding and learning, 80 hours is a lot of time to devote. And it might not be so important NOW, but when you start getting familiar with deadlines, you'll want to speed up your workflow. The faster you are, the more you can produce. The more you produce that more you learn. The more you learn the faster you get

Well I guess it was the price to pay to get so close to reality, and as long as I'm not involved in any serious CG business, time doesn't matter cos' it's mainly about learning and having fun. I'm a self taught artist, and my gallery is the result of my will and some good advice, so most of the time, I learn during the process, but I'm getting faster and I hope to increase my speed because I have many upcoming projects to achieve

tu t'fou d'ma gueule là, dis la vérité......... t'es capable de pondre un truc pareil?..y a ZERO défaut, mm pas dans le reflet au sol. les reliefs sont parfaitement gérés, mm la ressemblance du visage y est.. limite en regardant vite, on croirais au screen shot!et bien si c'est là la réelle étendue de tes capacités, je suis bluffé tout bonnement et simplement!!!!tu tiens le bon bout! je te discerne le titre de "génie du travail acharné" c'est plus que mérité là! je ne ferais pas de critique, c'est un travail qui mérite de ne pas l'etre, ce serais déplacé. que dire , apart : mille bravo!!!!! tu déchires!!!

je suis pas un grand fan de ce genre d'exercice,mais faut avouer que c'est bien foutu
il va falloir mettre en pratique tout ce que tu appris grâce a ca sur des colos plus conventionnel
j'aime beaucoup le rendu de la combinaison et surtout les bottes

Wow awesome job on the suit, it looks very, very nice! The likeness is a bit off, maybe the head is too big or something. But still spot on job! Also great job on the hair
