Description In boxing, a knockdown can take multiple forms. Sometimes a fighter simply loses their balance as the result of a punch while moving backwards or sideways and can't stay upright and sometimes they truly get their lights turned out and are unable to even lift their head from the canvas, let alone get back on their feet.  The former situation is frequently referred to as a 'flash knockdown' and it becomes apparent very quickly that D'Haen has became the latest victim of such an occurence. Her rear leg slips slightly as the punch pushes her back and suddenly she's on her actual rear to the dismay of her hometown crowd!

Tony: "Oh down goes D'Haen for only the second time in her career! It was a straight right hand from Sorensen, her first true connection of that punch in the fight and she manages to score the knockdown. It looked like the Belgian veteran slipped going backwards but a knockdown is a knockdown and Rafael Garcia will declare it as such as he begins the count!"

Hans: "I don't think D'Haen was really hurt by that punch, Tony. This has flash knockdown all over it and I think Sorensen knows it. Expect D'Haen to get up here."

Rafael: "To the neutral corner, Olivia!"

Olivia salutes her corner as she walks away from her downed opponent. She seems to be as privy to Suzanne's condition as anyone in the arena and doesn't celebrate her achievement. This fight is far from over. D'Haen for her part sighs and lightly slams her glove against the canvas in frustration but doesn't protest as Rafael Garcia continues his count and the crowd tries to will her back into the fight.
