I really like how the shadow is placed in her face. In my perception it gives her a strong but calm expression. ThatΒ΄s also interesting because of the sligthly birdΒ΄s-eye view. Oh, and the painting on her cheeks are a good idea.

This portrait has a "hybrid" fantasy feel, like the elfling belongs more appropriately in a Shdowrun type of setting than she does in a "pure" fantasy world. Maybe it's because her Asian features subvert the typical model. I don't mean that as a judgement, just as an aesthetic observation. It also feels like it straddles the hybrid ground between "sketchy" and "finished", and I really like that effect.
