Description Taken at Palisadoes yesterday, another version taken by ~EternalRose can be seen here Breaking Waves

The pier that you see now couldnt be seen last year this time, it was beacuase of Hurricane Ivan why it got cleared up and dug out

really amazing though, like you could just stand out there and have the sea at your side

Briliant! There are amazing vivid colors in this photo, especially the sky, it is mind blowing! I love the way you took this picture, it's like "this is as far as human made things go, from then on, it's just you". i find there's a little something threatening about this picture, I think it's the darkness, the waves and the endless ocean, the fear of being engulfed by the water and never seeing land again....
