My first submission ofr 2013 also happens to be my 80th fanart drawing
For the 31st theme of my 100 themes challenge I went for ASOIAF fanart. This is Margaery Tyrell, the sole daughter of the House Tyrell, probably enjoying her flowery balcony at Highgarden. She is described as a fair existence and she has an air of gentleness.
I find her interesting enough.
Plus, Cersei loathes her, so that reason alone makes me love her

I love Book-Margaery because I imagine her just like you drew her, gentle and lovely, but hiding under all that beauty that she's smarter than Cersei....She's not as innocent as she seems, and that makes her a great character
On the other side, I don't like TV-Margaery much....nobody believes Natalie dormer is an innocent maiden xD They changed Margaery's appearance too much for my taste.

Yes, I agree with you, I think that the show Margaery is not really Margaerish. The catress may be a good one, but I don't think she portray's the character the way the character was supposed to be portrayed...of course, the direction of the show has something to do with it

Agh, If Sansa can't be at Highgarden at least I hope Sandor climbs all the way up to the Eyrie in the middle of the Winter with that crazy horse of his and takes her from Petyr.....He gives me the creeps with all that " you look like your mother" and " come and kiss your daddy" shit ugh
gosh, Imagine Margaery's wedding with Tommen...that's gonna be hilarious, in the books she was twice his age, but in the show she looks like she could be his mother! Terrible, I tell you, I think the cast choices are amazing except for this one.

Ah, YES, I ship Sansa/Sandor so muh. That scene after the Blackwater Battle was just SO.CUTE. Sad, yet cute the same time...
Oh, even if I sort of like Petyr as a character, his pervy side that has to do with Sansa and Catelyn gets on my nerves
