This is my first proper go at digital painting, i thought i'd redo an acrylic painting of mine [link] so i could compare the process. This was painted in inspire pro on an i-pad with my finger (which is now numb)

Im thinking about may be buying some better digital painting gear (my program only cost Β£3) if anyone could give me any advise it would be much appreciated.

I use a pack of stylus that I ordered on amazon for like 15 bucks. just type in Ipad stylus and you will see the 15-20 pack and they have a smal verison and a large version. They work great, and hold up better than the others that I have bought just one of for the same price. Oh cool thank you, i did see some styluses but they looked really thick and i though it would be really hard to see what your doing......but if you think there good ill give them a go ....... i'll go check out flickr

Photoshop is always the best program
but get sai if you can't afford photoshop, or maybe corel painter
