Cosplay was entirely made by me, all elements visible are genuine craftsmanship and my own makeup design.

Hello! I am looking to make some wings for a cosplay, and I was wondering where you got all your feathers... It's like hell to find some of good quality and yours seem perfect! So, saw this costume on TV and can't remember if you mentioned Howl or not, I can be spacey at times, but it kept nagging at me that I should know who it was! So had to do a little digging and once I saw the name Howl, could have kicked myself! Of course, lol! It's been a good minute since I've seen the movie. The costume is amazing! Link cosplay is super impressive, too!! Anyway, you're great, keep it up!

Thank you, yes they should have let me say where it was from because Disney owns ABC Family and Howl's Moving Castle was bought by Disney. But I believe they did not use the sound bit where I stated this due to the focus on the show

It's really great that you cherish things like that! Even though you don't have a heart and all. haha. but sadly.. i have no tumblr.. I actually usually dont really talk to that many people. oh! hey! have you read the Howls Moving Castle book? The original story ya know?? I have the book and I really like! I haven't finished it yet though. but so far I really like it! Did you know that Sophies hair is supposed ta be red?? My hair used ta be long like sophies like a week ago. I used ta put it in a braid like hers too! also two braids. I love braids! man.. me babbling about everything.. sorry! Yes I in fact read the novel even before watching the film, the original story does differ significantly when it comes to the character traits of Howl but it makes a little more sense that he has those traits anyway. Yes, Sophie did have red hair! And howl's hair was dirty brown too, sort of like what my natural hair color is right now. I really loved Ghibli's rendition because they captured the innocence and beauty of love beyond time and appearance. A monster behind a man, and the beauty behind an old woman finding each other without the clouds of judgment. That is what true love is, to me.

really? I kinda wish I did that. Im kinda comparing them. so far i think I like the book a bit more than the film. I mean, youcan tell the differences. at first, the two sisters that traded places by switching bodies confused me. and then I thought that Howl like one of her sisters that wasnt her sister afterall. man, I was like " this is getting soo good!" I mean, in the book you can tell Sophie cares alot for her sisters. mostly Lettie. Martha I think was her name? shes kinda just a steps siter I guess. and didnt Lettie have like, black hair or something? I think thats what I read. I just liked comparing the two because I dunno. I find it kinda fun! hey, did I look familiar to you? just asking! hehe.

I really appreciate your comment, yes indeed these feathers were definitely the harder part of it all. I had a few fall off but that was bound to happen. I will have full pictures of myself very soon so you can see my feet and legs.
