Updated Installer... The menu bar is now called "Nyx" the dark menu bar...
in this release on DA it contains ""ONLY"" the normal size ""White, Blue and Retro Apple""!!!!!!!

Black dock is optional and included in the installer!

HELP! I installed it, but it was all messed up and looked wrong. So I did the restore to system defaults but now it's even worse. No background, no dock, no menubar, weird icons in weird places.. help..

I run Mac OS X Mavericks and I installed this with no issues. Maybe try uninstalling?

Thanks! I used this menu bar for Lion and Mountain Lion with no problems. Have you had anyone say that the one for Mavericks had any problems yet since it's a fairly new OS?

Hi, when I installed the menu bar everything was working fine but my menubar clock turned black instead of a white text like the other icons. I know there was an app that I used before to change the color of my battery and clock but I forget the name, the logo of the app has the shape of a circle. On the outer circle there's a silver metallic ring, on the inside of the circle its all dark with the design of a clock inside, the clock digits have a dark neon blue and some silver for the lines on the clock.
I know I cant explain it too well but it's the best I can do, if you know the app im talking about please let me know!

i dont get it my best guess would be istat menus too. im using version 3 on mountain lion and mavericks and it works fine...

Yup thanks that's it, I also noticed when I installed 10.9 Mavericks I couldn't change my dock to transparent anymore with mirage. Is there a way I can fix this? I really need my transparent dock back haha.

Looks like you were using Istat menus. stat menus 4 is stable on mavericks, i'm using version 4.0.5 now and don't have any issues

well that's why it says 10.8 to 10.8.5...
you can try downloading the mavericks files from my website and install them over it... cant guarantee that it will work...
if it wont work you'll have to reinstall the os...

The Apple versions in Mavericks are the Small Apple versions from the ML release.
I'm not planing to release even smaller ones...
Going to release the Mavericks version soon on Deviantart too.

hey levantin great job on the mod and I've been using it from snow to mountain lion.
just letting u know that this version does NOT work with mavericks. it does change the menubar to black (black dock doesn't work) and everything else but it screws up Finder's interface and things like the plus and gear icon. anybody reading this who has just upgraded to mavericks, DONT download v1.3.4 as it will screw mavericks interface up and if u try and uninstall it, it kills the dock causing a grey wallpaper and having to reinstall mavericks.
levantin pls update the mod so it supports mavericks without the interface bugs. cheers and great work on the mod, keep up the good work

Yo I serious loooooveeee your menu bar mod. I love how my MacBook isn't the same as everybody else's on campus. Do you think that the way this version of LevantinLynx modifies the menu bar would work for the OS X Mavericks? I just upgraded and I'm kind of dreading the fact that I got the ugly white menu bar back. It's driving me insane, and now I feel like a tool because my Macbook is the same $h!t as everyone else's. I'm contemplating on trying to edit the SArtfile and Artfile myself and wanted to see what you thought.

it works the same way... but you should use the original OS X 10.9 data and modify it just to be sure that is will work 100%, the black dock wont be compatible (at this point and time) so do not try using it in 10.9... I'll update the mod when mavericks is released due to me not having developer access this year

Bar confirmed to work on the Golden Master version of Mavericks.
However, upon trying to install the black dock option it seemed to lock out my system (no dock, notification centre not functioning, etc.) and I had to re-install OSX. I'd love for the black dock option to work, as it seem the 2D dock option that I've used for years has been revoked from this version and the black dock would be much more appealing.

its a programm called "bowtie" and the theme i'm using is called "Unnamed" by Thomas Günther and Cory Hayes... you can finde it in the themes section.
(It works with Itunes and last.fm as far as i remember)

Well they are, their in the default application folder. I was talking about how in the image there is nothing listed to install to like there was with the top system panel , so I can't even install the icons. Look at the image I shared with you in the photobucket link. That's the problem I'm having, it has nothing to with where I'm keeping my applications (which are in the right place) anyway by the sounds of it.
