Mark is a golden retriever pup. Similarly to Everest, instead of living at the lookout and working on various emergencies, Mark lives with Farmer Yumi, as her personal helper pup, assisting her around the farm. That's why he doesn't have a pup pack.

His uniform also includes puppy trainers so he's not bare pawed during farm work. Mark is very sensitive about getting his paws dirty or infected, So Ryder gave his uniform some puppy trainers to protect his paws on the farm.

After his pet died of throat cancer, he was homeless for a month, until he found a home with Paw Squad. He cares deeply for Jason Terrell. And when Jason decides to go AWOL, feeling that he'd had enough of Paw Squad and wanted to live a better life, Mark goes after Jason and encourages him to stay.
