I can't wait to play Echoes. Gonna plan on pre ordering it at my local Gamestop. Though I won't play the original Gaiden since I've heard it's very arcaic. That and I don't want to deal with a Permadeath mechanic I can't turn off.

Yeah but I blame Radiant Dawn being my first Fire Emblem Game I played purely out of curiousity for making me dislike the mechanic since I didn't know about it until I reached Elincia's part of the story.

Ohh nice choice of game!C: And it can get tedious, but it makes it more challenging and realistic to a war zone. Though I respect your opinion and it's fine to dislike that mechanic!

Not really I hate the Telius Saga since I only played Radiant Dawn and didn't bother picking up Path of Radiance (Both due to how rare it is and the prices I find it at.) due to their difficulty and it's what turned me away from the franchise until I eventually played Awakening after getting my 2DS a long while back...I hold Awakening as my personal favorite for being open to any gamer looking to get into Fire Emblem due to the Casual Mode. Heck when I play Blazing Sword aka FE7 and or Sacred Stones if I lose a Unit I reset the chapter. I just hope if Gaiden managed to get a remake. Genology of the Holy War, Tharacia 776, Binding Blade, Blazing Sword and Sacred Stones I hope get remakes since I want to experience those Fire Emblem Games with the ability to turn off Permadeath. Besides I had several killjoy moments that lead me to stopping my playthroughs of Sacred Stones and Blazing Sword constantly and it got to the point of just dropping the games all together.
