This really strikes me as a deserted Eastern European village that had just been ransaked by Nazis.... Don't know if that's the look you were going for, but it is quite interesting!

Reminds me of one of the cities in The Elder Scrolls Oblivion..mmn..oh yes Bruma! There's little houses like this and sometimes it snows.
