Have I ever mentioned how much I hate how DA handles submitting combined story/picture submissions? Well I do. This pic by is the fullsize version of the preview image for the story I just posted, in case anyone wants to see it fullsize. I elected to go that path rather than having the image fullsize on the submission and cramming the story into the artist's comments field because I shouldn't have to use such a workaround, a preview image visible on the submission itself should be the same goddam size it is when posting normally, complete with size-adjust function.Anyway, with that out of my system I can talk about the pic itself, A nice take on Robin's armour that actually looks like ice, and an all-round nice take on Demonia herself, especially her weapon, I particularly like the ambigious mood between them, Robin may be Demonia's mother but there's no guarantee they're going to get along, given Robin's recent experiences with demonkind that created Demonia in the first place... I guess you'll all just hve to read the story to find out.

Great image and that may be the best looking ice I've seen drawn yet. Also because she always creates her armor it allows it to be different every time.

Mm-hmm, though she tries to keep it fairly consistant her memory isn't perfect so there is a canon reason for some degree of variation.

Well she is Immortal you know... the goddess that remade her wanted a "maiden" as a vessel, so Robin ended up looking to be in her early 20's and borderline petite, (or at least she's supposed to be) she was actually older prior to that so the change was a disorienting return to youth. Morgana ended up with a goddess that wanted a "mother" type figure, thus Morgana ended up curvier, taller, physically stronger and looking to be in her 30's. As of yet, no goddess they've encountered wanted a "crone" for her vessel funnily enough.
Heh, glad to see you reading something about Robin for a change.

I often don't get the Angel Falls stuff - it has a very extensive backstory if you're not used to what's what. I'll try to look up some of Robin's stories though.

Mm, and even the stuff that mostly revolves around my own characters and one or two others in that setting is connected to it's own backstory of previous stories for those characters operating vaguely within that setting...

Yah, that was tied to a big old what-if story, her being killed was pretty much the capstone to a god-child going on a rampage after his good side's girlfriend got killed. I still like the fight I wrote for that one, even if she did lose, that's one of the few recent stories that I solo'd.

I don't see it as an issue, gives people a reason to post the art separtely and let people post separate comments on the pic itself.

Two submissions in one day isn't spamming anyone.
Now if you combine that with a few other things, say you get it up to 12 items in one binge submission drive that's spamming right there. Although depending on how regular your submissions are that's not always a bad thing.

True, though more than one story submission per day is sometimes pushing it in my experience, at least if you expect people to read them all. Of course the length of each segment is naturally a factor as well.

That's only one of many issues DA has right now. I like the armor. I can't decide if it looks mystical or alien in origin.

Well they have gotten better over time, and sometimes they do add usefull new features or catch long-standing annoyances.
And that armour is definately mystical in origin, given that it's conjured from water and a memory.

Ya they should allow you to post multi pictures and text under one layout. Just move around the line up like widgets.
