Description
This marked the highly anticipated Levithan in-ring debut of Doopy "Raiju" Roshi aka Levithan's very own "Thundercat" going up against Levithan's residential spiked kendo welding menace, Ayato "Chimera" Itami.
What made this match-up even more anticipated wasn't just the intentions of both these young talented fighters, but their connection...it came as no secret that Chimera comes from a wrestling family, sharing a ring name with his Twin sister, Sakura Itami. But what caused a great deal of surprise amongst fans was that the debuting Raiju was actually dating her opponent's aforementioned twin sister!
Many believed this was the reason for the match for Chimera wanting a license to punish Raiju...and others believed it was a simple case of nepotism that got Raiju into the door via her soon-to-be brother-in-law's name and weight in Levithan. Something that the debuting Doopy wanted to prove her critics wrong about.
As the match opened up, both Itami and Roshi engaged in a fast-paced back-and-forth dance with each wrestler showing off their prowess of speed and strikes, with hints of mastery over the air as well. The crowd was on the edge of their seats with seemingly neither of the opponents letting off the gas pedal!
Eventually, the stalemate came to an end when the rookie Raiju got the upper hand and took control of the match. But the crafty Chimera being the menace that he was hit Doopy with a proverbial "low blow" by making it personal and openly throwing jabs at his soon-to-be sister-in-law's insecurities that only someone close to her would be privy to. This line of mind games and psychological warfare paid off when Doopy began acting on raw emotions rather than her logic creating a chink in her armor, affording the snake that was Chimera the opening he was looking for to capitalize and begin picking away at Raiju with cold calculated malicious intentions and ill will, even managing to score a near fall on a downed Raiju, but it wasn't enough!
Despite Chimera's earlier successful efforts to play the mind games, Raiju proved far more stubborn and refused to quit! As fast as she was on her feet, the once downtrodden Doopy found an opening and latched onto it like a starving lioness trying to feed her cubs.
She began fighting back and soon got the better of her opponent hitting big move after big move giving him a receipt for all his cruel twisted head games, eventually even scoring a near fall herself! The crowd was abuzz with the resurgence and second wind as they all let out a collective groan when Chimera had kicked out.
But they remained hopeful when Doopy (quickly becoming a fan favorite) decided to keep the pressure on by running at a downed Chimera...only for the rookie to make a rookie mistake by running face first into Ayato's boot that he had lifted up knocking Raiju into a deep and sudden daze.
Being the opportunist that he was, Chimera wasted no time in capitalizing as he launched back to his feet and pulled the stirring Raiju onto his shoulders in a fireman's carry before he spun her around catching her head and slamming her down with his newly debuted finisher he dubbed "The Final Dosage" (Fireman's Carry Cutter). The move was impacted and proved devastating as Doopy remained limb on the mat without moving upon impact.
And to add insult to injury, when it was clear he was going to win...rather than go for a conventional pinfall, Chimera with the wickedest of smirks, rolled the unconscious Raiju onto her back via his boot and placed said boot onto her chest as he flexed to the crowd and camera as the referee slapped the mat thrice for the pinfall declaring Ayato "Chimera" Itami the winner...
