It is no secret that The Furie’s terrorization of the Leviathan landscape has quite literally painted the group as enemy number one among fellow wrestlers, fans, and especially upper management of the league. Some will voice their displeasure with the group vocally while a few brave would love to do so within the squared circle. That’s what a particular fan-favorite Yumi ‘Aquarius’ Star did as she called out the group on her social media Bitter account. Calling them out as nothing more than ‘gutless bullies’. One thing led to another, and The Furies member La Bandida responded to these messages by challenging the magical girl to a 1v1 match where none of her posse members would show up whatsoever…probably. Yumi, not wanting to back out from a fight, took the offer posthaste!

As many Leviathan fans may or may not know about Yumi, she has been but surely carving herself an admirable career so far in the black and blue brand. Coming up short in some matches against high-ranking competitors while in other scenarios the magical girl taking Leviathan Elite, Mizuko Kajiwara out with a submission hold! So in a summarized sense, Yumi Star has established herself as one of the most resilient competitors that Leviathan has ever seen! And with a major match against Rosita aka La Bandida, Aquarius better use all of her wishes and non-existent magical girl powers to take down this no-good Furies member!

Speaking of powers, Yumi was quite nearly sapped of said magic at the point of the match we tune in at. We see Yumi appear to be dazed and stunned on top of the corner within the ring. She gave all that she could against Rosita but she was utterly pummeled from head to toe by La Bandida’s brutal and unforgiving style of combat. Left utterly defenseless, Yumi was at the mercy of Rosita who had a nasty move in mind to do! But just as Rosita climbed to the top rope to execute the maneuver, something stopped the Mexican renegade in her tracks. Rosita was frozen in place as if she was seeing a ghost. We turn to see who or what she was staring at and it appears to be Water Moccasin, the recently signed competitor to the Leviathan brand! Not much is known about her, only that A. She is a self-proclaimed bounty hunter wrestler and whoever she gets a bounty on, she personally makes sure their win/loss record is in the negatives. And B. Her prices are STEEP! So whoever hired her must have DEEP pockets.

With that all said, Water Moccasin simply stood at the top of the wrestling stage quite…menacingly. Her mere presence distracted La Bandida so much that it gave Yumi enough time to recover and initiate a comeback! Yumi threw a punch to the unexpecting gut of Rosita before literally shoving her off and forcing Rosita to plummet back-first to the mat! With La Bandida on the mat and Yumi on the top rope, Yumi was in the PERFECT position to hit her Shooting Star Press finisher! Fans were coming alive at the prospect that Aquarius might actually win this! With fans cheering in her ears and blood now pumping in her veins, Yumi fought through the pain and took flight! Before landing a perfectly executed Shooting Star Press where Yumi caved in Rosita’s belly with her own!

Not skipping a beat, Yumi would immediately float over her opponent to execute a pin attempt that went for a 1…2… and 3!!! Giving Yumi the ultimate victory in the match as well as giving not just Rosita her first loss within Leviathan but the Furies’s first official loss as a faction. How this loss may or may not affect the group internally, we have our predictions but nothing official just yet. But in the event that the Furies dare to try and cry foul about Water Moccasin’s 'interference’ within the match, Leviathan higher-ups may have a laundry list of receipts for the Furies’s attics that may give Water Moccasin this free pass. But whatever the case, the other major takeaway from this match result is that Yumi got ANOTHER major career win under her belt after taking out Rosita. This may not only boost her standings within the league but definitely among fans and higher-ups. But the magical girl may have gotten herself in the crosshairs and scope of the Furies!

Immediately after the match, Yumi was interviewed and questioned about the appearance and mild interference of Water Moccasin that contributed to her win. Surprisingly enough, Yumi responded that she had absolutely ZERO clue that the bounty hunter was even present at her match and was surprised people would think she hired her. So if Yumi wasn’t the one who hired Water Moccasin… who did? Could it be the Leviathan higher-ups or Ms. Scylla? Could it be a disgruntled fan? Or maybe a fellow wrestler who wants the Furies to be punished subtly. Whoever did hire WM, the Furies would love to know who they are because they want to reward the individual that thinks of themself to be cute. Because you don’t simply screw over the Furies without any consequences. Like in their name, they are here to punish and especially the one who hired the hit.
