As promised, the long-awaited Rumble Island Highlight series is here! We humbly apologize for the MASSIVE delay in rolling out these pictures! After several different setbacks, rescheduling, and whatnot, we are proud to finally unveil these pics. To those of you who have been patiently waiting for these to come out- YOU ALL ARE THE REAL CHAMPIONS! Without further ado, please enjoy this highlight series.

If we had to perfectly encompass in one word how Rumble Island went, the snapped picture shown above by a photographer in the stands pretty much says it all. Chaos! Multiple things were going down nearly or sometimes all at once in this match. So much so, we might not even be able to list EVERY single thing that went down, but that’s why we call this the HIGHLIGHT series! We’re gonna cover the major aspects that went down in this bout.

This Island-based elimination match had many areas that competitors thought would be the safest. This was the initial mindset for competitors like that of Vesta ‘Hestia’ Lambros who entered the squared circle thinking that within the ring there would be less of a chance to be eliminated than fighting on the beachside area. Not a bad game plan whatsoever, but Kraken was in the ring with her. Putting up a valiant effort against him, inevitably the bigger beast of Leviathan ended up getting his hands on her. In a feat of unbelievable strength and showcasing why he’s the monster of Leviathan for a reason, he picked up the leotard-wearing Vesta and chucked straight out of the ring. In addition to this, Kraken must have been watching some Dude Perfect videos prior to this event because waiting just outside the ring was an unexpecting Akemi. Just as she turns to see what was the commotion going on within the ring- it was too late. Almost in an instant, both Vesta and Akemi were no longer on solid ground but now floating in the elimination waters.

If you think that the only highlight that came from this match- you’d be dead wrong! To go along with the in-ring chaos, two up-and-coming stars Joyce Hilda and Yumi Star go ham against each other within the ring. If this weren’t a Rumble elimination match, the fans in attendance would’ve been treated to a hell of a singles match! While these two ladies tore into each other, a particular universe-themed Nia Orion turned her eyes away from the in-ring action to the chaotic outside!

As we turn our scopes away from the squared circle to the outside enclosure of the beach side of the ring, we see just how this was designated one of the most dangerous and active sections of the arena. There was so much chaos going on in this area almost simultaneously that the commentators had a hell of a time to not miss anything going on. Let’s list some things that went down, The General Manager (In Training), Juniper Nayle received a gift in the form of a coconut from the ever-devilish Isaac ‘Triton’ Edwards! He was of course applauded for this move by the equally conniving schemer Shad Owens who had to let out a laugh when seeing this moment go down. Thankfully, after a check from the doctor, it was disclosed to the public that indeed the coconut would make a full recovery by the end of the week. And oh yeah Juniper was fine too. She was just a tad mad that she had a coconut thrown in her face of course.

We turn our eyes to another competitor who is acting more like a fellow spectator as she witnesses Kraken’s two-for-one special! That competitor would be none other than former-wolf enthusiast turned Hydra, Beatrice Lupo! After seeing such a demonstration of pure unmatched strength, Beatrice knew that the number one threat in this match would be none other than the Hulk of the Leviathan Elite! Quickly becoming an advocate of the ‘Let’s take out the biggest threat in this fight’ committee, Beatrice would try the diplomatic route and try her best throughout this bout to gather fellow competitors in eliminating Kraken. Let’s see in the upcoming highlights in this series if dear Hydra ever did become successful in this attempt.

Before we conclude this highlight pic, we feel that it is important to state how some of the competitors currently resigning in the elimination area (the water) ended up there. Well, in the far right corner of the picture, we see the masked luchadora Manta Ray taking a nice swim and trying to wave down the ever-friendly water taxi referee to be ferried out of the water. You might be asking how she ended up there? Well, that’s simple, the fellow swimmer next to her, a far less friendly Aztec competitor, Tayanna known as Tezcatlipoca. Try and say that 10 times fast folks. She is also a total advocate of kicking your face first and asking questions later and is the one to be blamed for Manta Ray’s early departure from this bout. After landing a NASTY jumping knee strike to her competitor’s chin, it was academic from that point forward as she was able to literally shove her right out of this match. But don’t worry she didn’t get to last much longer in the match after that as a fellow competitor duly debuted with her with a Tilt A Whirl Headscissor Takedown right into the water!
