Description
After having dealt with Camie’s ANNOYING love and care treatment from the day prior, War was finally feeling better. As much as she did secretly enjoy the help, she still wasn’t happy with Camie breaking into her house. So the next morning, feeling a lot better, she would let Camie sleep, and change out of her clothes while making SURE to check for no peeping Camie’s, before getting into a proper outfit.
After which she went and checked on Camie “Eh, get up, you gotta go now.” War Horse would say to the sleeping Camie who was laying on the borrowed blow-up sleeping mattress. Instead of a straight response, Camie would mumble something from under the bedsheets.
“Look thanks for the soup and stuff but you broke into my house and we both can agree you have overstayed your welcome so you’re not sleeping here all day.” War Horse would say sternly. But Camie once again responds with another grumble.
War Horse would groan and start to get slightly irritated “Cam no, get up and get going, you can’t stay her-” As War Horse was going to lecture Camie, she was suddenly cut off.
“ACHOO!” Camie would suddenly jolt, sneezing and sniffling. War Horse jumped when hearing this while her eyes went wide. “Oh no, don’t tell me!?” Priscilla would say as she pulled the covers off, showing not only had Camie got sick, but the dork forgot to switch out of her wet clothes she wrestled in and got soaked in the rain while coming over to Priscilla’s home.
“CAMIE YOU IDIOT, WHY ARE YOU STILL WEARING THOSE CLOTHES?!?” Priscilla would yell while taking a knee next to the still-laying Camie.
“Huh?....Oh uh yeah, I fer got.” She mumbled, Warhorse groaning, helping her sit up, grabbing a tissue to wipe her nose, feeling her forehead, and yes, she was sick. Warhorse sighed. “Alright, you're staying in bed then, you can borrow some clothes but YOU BETTER GIVE THEM BACK” War demanded, Camie was a bit too dizzy to give a clear answer, but regardless, Warhorse would help her out of the clothes, not daring to look at her while she changed, before giving her some stuff to wear mainly an old heavy metal t-shirt and some cute black and gray panties.
The roles were essentially reversed, War would check in on the sick girl every once in a while, even getting Camie some soup of her own, that being chicken noodle, a brand that War had to go to the store and grab, BUT SHE’D NEVER TELL CAMIE THAT. After this she just took care of the girl, making sure she was comfortable. War Horse would turn on the bedroom T.V. to keep her sick guest entertained and would turn on the Leviathan network and conveniently it was covering Camie’s recent match.
War Horse watched in awe how Camie kicked some butt in her bout and ended up qualifying for that Excalibur tournament the day before. That awe turned to outrage real quick as War Horse realized Camie essentially wrestled a grueling match to immediately running in the rain to spend a whole day nursing her! War Horse was going to lecture the dork again, but looking at the sick Camie, Priscilla took a moment to reflect. The fact this woman went out of her way to not only check on her, but also nurse her, and gave her company. Which in the process got her sick, it was a whole lot more than her own faction mates did for her…
While Camie was falling in and out of sleep, War Horse who sat next to her contemplated what she should do. She had a cold rag on Camie’s forehead to help cool her down. In a sneaky attempt to indirectly say thank you, Priscilla would briefly move it to check her temperature. Instead of using her hand, War Horse would give her a quick swift peck on the head before placing the rag back over the sick gal’s head. War Horse didn’t care if Camie noticed or not because of how sick she was but Priscilla wanted to at least do something to thank her…for everything.
Camie, in her sleepy state, felt the peck, and although she was far too out of it to realize what it was, it felt nice, gentle, the feeling filling her sick body with a warm feeling, and she smiled in her sleepy state as Warhorse took care of her.
Not before long both these sick dorks were fast asleep shoulder-to-shoulder on War Horse’s bed. They eventually both conquered this illness and let’s just say, War Horse no longer required Camie to go through the Furies to arrange future dates…hell, not before long these two went above and beyond the set dates counter they originally agreed on in their first meeting. After all this time, the pair seemingly were growing past the dates being a formality.
However, Warhorse did eventually realize and get rather annoyed that the next morning Camie had left with her borrowed clothes, which the Vampire Squid would likely have to deal with the next time the pair talked.
