Description
This basically a colored sketch... not really finished work. First attempt at this character in many years, so this is the new preliminary design for Sairen Rigel in her basic outfit. It is further modified with armor & mech parts appropriate to her activities.Rigel is the main protagonist of Blue Stasis, my 2d horizontal SHMUP/brawler. She is a Hydronaut, specializing in surface/underwater combat. She has a rocket-powered surfboard & her boots also have mini jet boosters. On the surface she uses a retractable beam boomerang, underwater her surfboard becomes a rocket-powered sword.
Will eventually add side/back views... I want someone to render her in 3d *_*
