Description
My very first picture with a digital camera following 's advice! And it was a great success right before I realized that. Many critics (much more experienced photographers than me but still friends of mine) say it is my best picture. Yeah, I know it has a strong impact on anybody is watching it probably because it has a strange geometry (every detail counts they say).For me it's something else: every time I look at this picture it reminds me of people I've lost in time (my grandmother, my father...). Crows are mortuary symbols in many folk cultures of the world (very often being messengers of death).

This is "a picture within a picture" - no matter how you look at its details you can still find resources for another image - i love it! has soft toned and a great natural light, and the birds look like they were posing for you... great job!

Yeah, it was interesting! About resizing: the bigger the picture the better for printing, don't you think?

Yes, but I meant resizing the image you posted by saving it in a lower quality jpeg with a decent compression rate so we can all watch it without having to wait a lot for it (somewhere like 200-300 kB for this should do just fine). From a good 1280 width you can print a decent 4"x6" (or 9x13 if you speak in centimeters) but that version should stay in your computer.

To be honest, I've been travelling a lot in the last months and I prefer to have my best pictures on the internet posted in original format to be accesible from anywhere. Yeah, I should buy a notebook instead...
