SURPRISE!!! I finally finished a surprise gift for one of my watchers, hapilagrace ... who I found out just now has deactivated her account.

Now I'm really sad, because I was really looking forward to seeing her reaction to this surprise gift.

Anyways. The character featured is Hapila, hapilagrace 's dragon character. She's really pretty and I wanted to do something nice for one of my underrated watchers, so I decided to draw her character in one of the most complicated scenes I've ever drawn (probably the most complicated), a botanical garden, in order to really draw out the maximum that I could from her design and concept. I certainly haven't ever drawn that many plants in one finished piece, and those shadows were really hard. I'm not completely satisfied with the shadows on and around Hapila herself, but everything else I'm really proud of. The bushes, the trees (especially the weeping willows), and the vines!! OH the vines. (...but don't mind the trellis they're on, I know it's messed up XD)

So even though I'm really sad hapilagrace will most likely never see this gift... I'm proud of the effort I put into it, and hope she's doing ok.
