Night, day, exactly what time it was couldn't be determined within the ancient Egyptian walls. Undisturbed for thousands of years, the red-tinted stones showed little signs of their age and their unique color combined with the romantic light cast by various torches lent an air of intimacy to the underground landscape. At various intervals were ancient statues, some of the god Anubis with his dog-like appearance, others of the goddess Iris in all her beauty each carved from pure blue gold with yellow gold worked in for the details. The air was mystic, intimate, suspenseful, as was the aim when it was built for the queen pharaoh Cleopatra to seduce men into nights of pleasure.

One unfortunate byproduct of those bygone days was that a enough of that excess love-energy, as one had jokingly called it, was left behind so as to create a rather...interesting effect on those males who dared enter. Interesting was one way to describe it, the owners of the 10 pairs of feet pounding through the tunnels would probably have used various and sundry different words to describe their male counterparts conditions.

"Awww man, how did we get into this situation again?" panted a 13 year old green eyed redhead as the group rounded the corner and stopped for a moment to listen, many of them with hands on their knees or leaning against the wall. "Boys are idiots." wheezed one a little older than her with short dark purple hair and the second oldest of the group winced. "N-Naruto-kun..." she mumbled, regretting ever stumbling upon the tomb of her world as her 16 year old frame heaved from the exertion. "That's not what we have to worry about right now." whispered the oldest of the group, hand lightly on her gun as she peered around the corner to check for signs of pursuit. Everyone went dead quiet and listened as the sound of pounding feet could be heard coming closer, echoing off the walls and the redhead covered her ears. The youngest thought fast, milky eyes flicking around sightlessly and raised her arms in almost what looked like a fighting position and everyone was promptly swallowed up by a section of wall.

"Mmmmmmph!"

"What the hell?"

"Everybody quiet!"

The sound of footsteps came upon them, and everybody held their collective breaths until they passed.

"A-are they gone?" came a slight whisper.

"Uh-huh, for now at least." was the response.

At that everybody practically melted with relief, and a pink light flickered on, illuminating the entire cavity of wall in it's magenta glow from the hand of the redhead. Everyone watched in slight awe as the light gently began to float up, up, up until it banished every last shadow with it's light as it shined at the ceiling. The redhead smiled as all eyes turned back on her in amazement, except the blind girl who just sat there looking around, slightly confused at whatever was going on. The redhead just shrugged and turned to the purple-haired one "So, which one's yours?" she asked conversationally, holding out her hand "Name's Gwen, by the way." she finished and the purple-haired one accepted the appendage. "Raven," she responded, "and the green one's mine to kill when we get home." Gwen laughed and they all sat down to do introductions. By age from youngest to oldest it was Toph, Gwen, Raven, Hinata, and Riza Hawkeye.

Toph, the blind one, was with the boomerang guy, though she swore up and down she would kill him later.

Gwen, the redhead, had been dating a huge mutant on the down-low who had been transported with her.

Raven, the purple-haired one, was on a team with a shapeshifter, also transported with her

Hinata, the shy one, had had a crush on the blond-haired guy she had been transported with for the longest time.

And Riza, the one with the guns, was the Lieutenant serving under the Colonel she'd been transported with.

They all agreed that this was probably the most embarrassing thing that had ever happened in their entire existences and swore to find a way home no matter what. Hinata turned to Toph "G-good thinking with that-that wall thing, w-whatever it was." she said and Toph shrugged, folding her hands behind her head in a nonchalant gesture and said "Eh, it's just Earth-bending at its finest. They shouldn't be finding us too soon." some of the girls rolled their eyes at her bragging but Raven frowned, creases forming at the middle of her brow where her gem lay. "I don't know," she pondered "Beastboy's our main tracker, he may retrace their steps and catch our scents leading here." everyone winced and Toph's stare went distant. She frowned as well, pursing her lips before saying "They're splitting up." everyone looked at her but her stare remained constant. "Gwen your boyfriend is retracing our steps, Raven your guy is with him." she looked in the direction of the two and tension returned in the air, capturing everyone in its moist grip. Riza bit her lip thoughtfully, but any theories or ideas to be thrown out were killed on the spot when a sniffing sound could be heard, coming closer and closer with each heartbeat. Everyone stiffened as the sniffing noises stopped at the section of wall the girls had been sucked up into, Gwen's light went out as everybody held their breath once again as they were plunged into darkness.

"Here." was their only warning before a banging started on the wall. "Your boyfriend's trying to break down the wall!" Toph screamed as they were rocked back with the force of the blows and everyone tried to stay on their feet. "Everyone over here!" Raven shouted from the middle of the cavity and footsteps could be heard stumbling over to the direction of her voice until 10 pairs of hands were on her arms or body. Nobody could see her eyes glow black, or the silhouette of a raven engulf all of them just a second before the wall gave way to reveal only an empty space where once before stood the targets. "Damn!" cursed Kevin as he looked around for any sign of the girls, any trace but there was none, his partner didn't seem as worried though. Looking up at his large teammate Beastboy smirked and folded his arms "Don't worry, if I know Raven she doesn't go very far carrying a load, and where she goes the rest are sure to be.". He raced off with the other in hot pursuit, both smirking as they tore through the tunnels to find their girls.
