HAHAHA!! Wrex is one of my favorites, my Shep would definitely have him babysit her daughter.

I like Wrex too. Besides he teach the kid the important things in life; like how to evaluate people as enemies and how to use a shotgun!

Definitely!
Tho, I'm more excited that my Shep will most likely be able to seduce Tali.

That would be so awesome. "Shepard, I saved you from your trial and the subsequent Reaper invasion. Also, we have a child." "Thanks, Lia.... wait.... what?"

Love this! Poor Liara, looks a bit put off by Shepard's arrival or something.

Wow, Liara and Shepard look like they are trying to figure things out. While the child has innocence still about her

Yeah, I did this just after playing ME2 (pre-Shadow Broker), and everything seemed to tense and uncomfortable between my Shep and Liara. So, I was extrapolating as to reasonings, and thought "secret daughter!". So I tried to reflect all of those feelings.

well very well done. Liara looks kinda ashamed, that she hid the kid for five years? It is a very believable story why Liara does act different. Even after the shadow broker, she's not the same innocent gal you save from a prothean ruin mine

Yeah, part of me misses that naivety. I think that's why I'm so in love with Merrill in Dragon Age 2, she reminds me a lot of pre-Shadow Broker Liara.

I kinda played with the age and stuff, so I kinda settled on 7-8 because, well it makes her awareness of her "father" a bit more poignant.

Yes, totally understand. While I loved my Shep and Liara in ME1, and their cuteness in Lair, I must say after playing Dragon Age 2 (and my Merrill/Hawke romance), it makes me yearn more for femShep/Tali'zora.
With that said though, I know that the writers of Mass Effect were more focused on Shep/Liara, and you can tell by the greater storyline. Which is not a complaint at all, my only complaint is November can't come fast enough.

You know after Lair of the Shadow Broker, that line about Liara being one of the galaxy's most powerful info brokers seems quite prophetic.
Also young T'Soni-Sheppard looks adorable.

if liara had shepard's child mass effect 3 would have a lot more depth. i think it would be kind of a touching reunion like in metal gear solid 4 with raiden. i just recently got back to playing me2 to finish insanity with my male shepard soldier. its a break from playing modern warfare 2 all the time and playing hideouts in red dead.

Nice pic, but there is a flaw: Asari don't mature like himans, so if T'soni was having Shepard's child she would give birth after Shepard's death.

lexikimble In reply to Nasuren [2010-07-07 23:49:27 +0000 UTC]
Liara could have easily given birth at any point between the destruction of the Normandy and the events on Cerberus' Lazarus Station, which was a 2 year span.
As to maturation rate of the Asatri, yes, I took some liberties with aging, as there's no canon rules. With that said, I've concluded due to a young adult (18-20 year old) looking Asari talking about her still living Salarian (the race only lives about 40 years) father on Illium, that they physically age similar to humans until 20-21, then they slow to a near stop.

Codex(?) entry:
"As a result of the age difference many asari raise their daughters alone, especially if the "father" species is short-lived. Despite their partner's death, a part of them will live within their other."
Is it possible they might be able to raise their children in their offspring's early life, but I doubt it. Also, where is this one Asari? All I rember is the Krogan one.
PS: I'm not trying sound mean, just curious.

They are standing by the kiosk next to the Krogan.
Liara said in the first game that it is not uncommon that the mother raises the child alone but she also said that the parents my only meet each other once.

I read the Comics & I have to say they sure made Liara major Powerful in the Comics makes me thingk she hit a Biotic Growth Spurt...
I'm still Really Sad I just Finish Mass Effect 2 & I'm still Sad that Liara doesn't Join You & its Sucks especialy if you had a Romance with Her like me.
& I think Bioware totally should of I mean heck you even had a Perfect Mission that couldv'e made her Join hunt Down the Shadow Broker.
Also when it came with the Characters personaltys I thought Liara's was really out of Character in ME2 also she was a Scientist how the Hell she suddenly became an Information
Broker WTH! & I really missed the somewhat Naive Attitude she had in ME1 now she's like her Mom & threating to Kill everybody!

I love my Shepard because, well, she looks like me and I completely played it as if it were me in that situation. Granted... still bummed that I had ZERO romance options in ME2 T_T

Lmfao. I spent more time being a badass than seeking options sadly. Thane offered, and I almost took it. but when I played through a second time, this time using my ME 1 Character? Hoooboy, It was a damn good time.

I loved the picture and the idea, especially since I was thinking the same thing. I was waiting for Liara to tell Shepard that they had a daughter. I expected it since Liara kept saying that she couldnβt leave because she had responsibilities and had expenses and debts to pay off. I asked myself βWhat responsibilities? What expenses? What debts? Youβre archeologists; you donβt have any debts to pay off, unless sheβs hiding something from Shepardβ¦like a daughter! β Iβm glad Iβm not the only one who thought this.
