Much of the action in my "I, Bonita" novels takes place in contemporary Canada. There is a funning gag in the books on the theme of that iconic Canadian character from "Anne of Green Gables" novels.

I created a ficticious horror film series called "Anne of GRIM Gables". One of my principal characters is a college student who cosplays as Anne Shirley at a Halloween Ball. This chapter illustration is an intentional visual joke.
