Description
This restoration of Archeopteryx lithographica is based on the handful of described skeletons including the 150 million year type specimen from the world-famous Solnhofen Limestone of Bavaria. The originals are all flattened. This composite corrects for these distortions. It is about 50 cm long.

This reconstruction was part of a traveling exhibition dedicated to the fossils from the Solnhofen lithographic limestone and the paleo art that they have inspired.
