Description More of my dinosaur and space art can be seen in my DA "Paleo & Sci Illo" gallery:

The title is self-explanatory. That is the late Cretaceous Earth hanging in the backround. Those are sentient Troodontids in the foreground. Given a 65 million year headstart, they are now running the galaxy.

I had originally intended to give each Troonaut a spacesuit of a different color ala "Destination Moon". Once I had colored one suit green I decided to make them all the reassuring color of their native forests. In this colorless environment it would be comforting for the Troodonts to see each other as surrogate trees.

Wow, cool! You know, it makes me actually think how the dinosaurs would have evolved if the catastrophe over 65 million years ago that destroyed everything hadn't had happened.

Some did evolve into birds though.

Oh yes, I did hear about that. Well, I'm a person who believes in possibilities, and if it's possible some dinosaurs evolved into birds, who are we to question it, to question nature? Strange things can happen, and everything can't be explained by science.

There's alot we don't know but science will find a way to explain it later.

True, but I don't base my knowledge on things on just science alone. I believe we need to believe and trust in instinct and common sense as well as science, you know? Yes, I do believe there are ghost and other such things that can't be explained by science. Can science prove them? No, but I know my instinct, I know that somehow, someway, other things can exist...even ghosts. That's just an example, but I do know what you mean.

But hey. I don't want to believe. I want to know.

True, but we can know without being too reliable on cold science, right? I think so.

THANX. I drew some inspiration for the space suits from "2001 a Space Oddyssey".

BTW: Their communication antennas run the length of their tails.
