Marvel’s Magik from the X-men
I’ve been working on a series of redesigns of some of my favorite hero’s
My concept for this design is I wanted to modernize a familiar look that is exclusive to that hero
As well as add a new aspect of non canon lore.
In this piece I’ve removed the soul sword and fashioned a soul bow because I like the specific detail that her soul “weapon” can take on any form she desires. Also I love aesthetically the idea of a soul bow in use. Somehow I find It more suits her style to use a bow and arrow though that is completely un founded on any actual canonical lore.
