Description Some people asked for this so here it is!

The pattern to my seal plush...[link]

It's probably not perfect. It may need a bit of tweeking with the felt, but it should work pretty nicely, it is the same one I used. It can be turned into a whale pattern as well by making the hump of the back on the sides bigger and adding a fin in the back seam. If you have any questions just leave a comment.

If you use it please share pics of the finished product.

UPDATE: I made a video to help explain how to make the plushie better. I hope it helps you guys! [link]

Also, is it okay if I sell some of my whales I make online? I just wanted to ask you since you're the one who made this pattern.

Sure! I am not going to sell them yet because of stress from school, but I'll remember to include the link here for your patterns! Thanks so much!

Hi! I plan to use this pattern to make a whale!!! I was wondering how could I make the pattern bigger, if I want to make a slightly bigger whale. What I mean is, if I print out this pattern and trace it exactly like it is, will it turn out to be a good size once I see it together? Sorry if this confused you, but I can't wait to use your pattern! I also checked he video, and tis a great tutorial! The music was awesome in it, too

Thank you so much, I'm glad you like him. To make him bigger you should just make the image bigger when you print it. The size I made is probably about 5 inches. But you can either make the pattern bigger in photo shop, trace it from the computer screen, or tell the printer to magnify the image. I think there is a way to make an image bigger so that it prints on multiple page that you can then tape together.

Does this sort of answer your question?

Dark-Pheonix99 In reply to lexxxii [2013-09-22 11:30:05 +0000 UTC]

Oh yes! Just, how do I magnify it? I tried to do that in MSpaint, but it didn't work. How did you do it?

Any my first whale was a success thanks to you! You can check my profile and it should show my first whale, Whaley :3

I never needed to enlarge mine. I usually just trace patterns from my screen. I would just enlarge it on photoshop, but I think there are places online to do that as well. And then you should be able to print to scale or save as a pdf and print as a poster. www.blockposters.com/step1.asp… This website will print things on multiple pages too.

Hi there
I'd love to make these into a mobile for my baby, they are so cute! But I can't see the PDF - the link just brings me back to this page but I can't see the pattern image. Is there any way you could email it to me?
In hope

How much fabric does this use?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

lexxxii In reply to OreoTnettenbaSnood [2013-01-18 20:23:57 +0000 UTC]

just a couple sheets of felt. Depending on the size you want it to be.

Sorry for the late reply but are you sure it doesn't work? You might want to try another browser or disabling ad blockers if you have them because the video still works, and I haven't had any other complaints from people about it.

I don't know what's going on but no matter what browser I use the video says there's copyright issues or something and doesn't work... D:

i think it's blocked in certain countries, on the video on my computer it says "this video has been block by EMI in your country on copyright grounds" copyright is getting ridiculous xxxxx this pattern is awesome though!! i managed to make a few whales when the video was still available a few months ago, and the pattern is easy enough to do without the video if you try (i have) xxxxx

Hiya!
Thanks so much for this adorable pattern, I used it! My creation is here [link] if you're interested.
Also, I was wondering - where do you stand on people making these in order to sell them? I was thinking of making some small bits and bobs for a craft fair, but I can't for the life of me make my own patterns. Things like this would be perfect, but I wouldn't do so without your permission.
