Done 07.04.-08.04.2012~ 3-4 STD
i love the reference of this drawing so much!
so it worked quite well
i used pencils from H2 to B8 and a white gel pen (+Charcoal for the darkest parts)

je suis très impressionnée par l' exécution de ce travail.
j' ai moi même commencé par du dessin classique au crayon et je trouve les ombres et volumes de ce dessin impeccables.
quant aux proportions, rien à redire, c'est parfait !!!
Peut être un manque d'originalité du choix du sujet mais je ne trouve pas cela particulièrement gênant car l'impact de l'exécution de ce portrait est vraiment irréprochable.
Je sais à quel point il est difficile de rendre une expression à un regard, celui ci est vraiment vivant, et captivant.
De plus il n' y a pas de surcharge, la lumière est bonne ainsi que l' équilibre du contraste.

the hair is more realitic on the original drawing... the scanner allways make it worse

hm it hard to explain
i draw the different parts over and over till it looks good and i allways draw the shadows from pencil b2-b8 one after another
