Ahh kitties. For some reason you just have to love them. Even when they barf in the kitchen, poo outside your bedroom door every morning and pee on your favorite jacket so it smells every time you sweat. Still, you have to love them.

My old dog Daisy [link] had her own couch. It was a couch we had since the late 70s and looked okay until mom adopted Daisy. After Daisy and Mom passed, my brother and I took the couch off to the dump. It was beyond salvageable.
Daisy also shed like crazy and mom insisted on keeping her in the house. I'm still encountering her hairs on our blankets, even after they've been laundered.

I find cat hair everywhere. Mine are both long haired and I pull out clean clothes from the drawers with cat hair already attached. I leave the house in black pants with a ring of fur around my calves where they've rubbed against me.
I don't mind any of it.
