I'm sure Mark would be unrepentant about the contrivances in his story for The New Aventures Of The Spirit, because, after all, we're not supposed to take any of it seriously. But I found it very stretching to the credibility when one of the acid-dropping insects the story concerns, just happens to crawl through the wall at exactly the place where Danny is tied-up, and then just happens to walk aross the rope which binds him, dropping just enough acid in it's wake to burn through his bonds...
But I had great fun on this. One artistic point to make : it always helps the action of movement in figures to have creases and folds in clothing follow the direction of the action in which various limbs and bodies ae moving. Seems like an obvious thing to do, doesn't it, but I've seen lots of art where it obviously hasn't been done.
