Description

In the midst of a torrential downpour over the ancient stone manor, a brilliant flash of lightning momentarily illuminates a weathered plaque that bears the inscription "Harvey Dent Memorial Rest Home for Reformed Criminals." Stealthily, five mysterious figures infiltrate the premises through the roof.

Terry, known as Batman, urgently consults with Oracle as they assess the aftermath of their encounter with the notorious Scarecrow toxin. Max, his ally, scrutinizes the convulsing Howie in the medward.

Max: "Flamebird is resting, but the Scarecrow's toxin still lingers. Are we certain it's Crane? He's in his 90s."

Terry: "The old rogues are resilient. Just ask Tim Drake."

In a tactical debrief, Terry calls for a team report.

Matt: "I stumbled upon a bald man, red beard fading, with a question mark on his forehead. He's fixated on a peculiar black horse head."

Terry: "That's a Dark Knight, Robin. The bald man is the Riddler, not our target."

Blade chimes in: "I've spotted a stout figure engrossed in a holographic nurse reading 'Alice in Wonderland.'"

Terry: "That's the Mad Hatter, Batgirl."

Dana interrupts with a humorous observation: "Whoa, wrong room."

Terry urges Nightwing for her findings.

Dana: "Two elderly women, both in their 90s. One with green skin, the other resembling the Dee Dee twins. Clearly, they've benefitted from splicing. I'll give them their privacy."

Terry locates Jonathan Crane but rules him out as the perpetrator.

Max questions Terry's conclusion.

Terry: "Six-month-old corpses tell the tale."

Huntress, donned by Chelsea Cunningham, discovers a peculiar detail: "The old man I found is too feeble, yet this place is filled with albums, playbills, and movie posters. Seven bodies point to the 'Se7en' poster, a woman crushed by a drone reminiscent of 'Wizard Of Oz,' and a man frozen in a tux holding an axe like Jack Torrance from 'The Shining.' The old timer has rust hair, grey beard, and a music score tattooed on his forehead."

Max identifies him: "Neil Weston, the Music Meister. Too frail for such traps, but his son Burt fits the bill. He's an orderly, a film enthusiast who flunked out of holo-cinema school."

Terry concludes: "None of the elderly residents are capable. Those who can't do, teach. The Film Freak learned well from his mentors here."
