Description So... this took around 8 hours, it wasn't so hard. I loved the earphones, that's the main reason for me to vector it, actually. And I must say that I'm pretty proud of the result. After the huge depressive state in which I fell into after reading Bleach manga 353: The Ash (I'm not even recalling it, for I may cry again), I sank myself in a near obsessive need to finish this one, which wasn't even halfway done. And I should say that, sickening as it may sound, I really feel relieved after the work was completed. Hope you like it, I think she looks really pretty here.

this is a very basic vector\the image u choosed is pretty nice
the lines are unconstant but it's fine since they're thin compare to the whole image

i think the eyes could use more detail to add emotion
and the mouth/teeth would be nicer with shade in it it's flat

and on some of the shades needs more work on the curves

Thanks for the critique.

About her teeth, I vectored exactly what I saw in the original scan. I too thought that her teeth needed some shadow, but I decided not to risk making a mistake with it.

As for the eyes, again, I vectored exactly what I saw in the original scan, but I don't seem to understand what kind of emotion you are talking about.

I know I still need to further learn about the shading, if you could recommend me any tutorial or give me some tips I would really appreciate it.

um..tutorials i don't really think i know any
but u can try chloe-chan's vector [link]

*-* i wouldnt call it a risk though
and u can always delete those parts if u dont like it later on
you should try to experiment more and add ur own touch

I love it. There's no way I could ever do a vector and keep my sanity in that amount of time. XD

I like the hair and eyes in particular. Good job!

Thanks! But I didn't take the whole 8 hours in one shot! I was too depressed actually -_-U. Nah, I wouldn't be able to take that much time without a rest XD

Still, vectors aren't the most interesting form of coloring. XD

That's one reason I stick to traditional stuff, I suppose.
