Description I've lost touch with the number of years I've been asked to do a Slaine piece, so in the end I just did one for the hell of it. I wanted it to really feel post-battle, and NOT look like a Bisley.

Do you have a good trick of the trade for the blood on his body? I'm doing a gladiator piece and want to bloody him up, but have not come close to this awesome look

It's done in Photoshop with the brush on overlay setting, and it's a pretty big brush, like 190 px, with lots of scattering, wet edges, and trying to be random and yet follow the form of the figure. Also it's a very dark red, nearer to black actually. It looks redder as you use it.
