I'm not a good freehand painter.So I used some references to create my painting.
Daenerys: img4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20…
Drogon: img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20…
And some hair references from DenysRoqueDesign. They were well suited for what I had in mind.
It was a lot of work. But I never thought that it looks so good in the end!
But I'll be honest with you with the Dodge & Burn Tool I have made some corrections, where I used to bright or dark colors. I'm not good at making realistic shadows, lol.
I don't know if you do that that in digital paintings.
And for the final image I used the Bleach Bypass Filter from Nik Collection...to get more contrast on it.
I just wanted to let you know that.
Drogon was very difficult for me. I have ruined his wings
But it was so much fun! I love it .... I think in the future I will do more digital paintings, even if it's a lot of work.
By the way, it was my second digital painting ever... (:
