NECK!!!!
Dude. OMFG. I love how you did the... augh, what's the word... like you know how the kneck isnt's straight like a forehead? It has... you know... cords or something? Fuck, you know what I mean. Anyway, I freaking love how you did those. They're so hard for me. I always just draw a black line... and it looks stupid... but this is awesome. Totally.
I think my favorite bits are the line of the jaw, the little bit of ear, and the hair. I don't know WHY. They're just amazing. *_*

The part of the neck I have no idea what to call either, it's just some sort of muscle to help turn and pivot the head, I think. But yeah, it's really hard to do in just comicy-style, or basically ANY style where you don't have a sharp use of shadow. Shadow = Goodness.
I think I like the jaw the best. But I'm glad you recognised the little bit of ear for an actual ear, because I thought it looked kinda odd.

Heh, I didn't have any other art program on my computer at the time, and I wanted to try out using a tablet for the first time. I like the results, though. ^_^
I'm glad you like it too!

Wow, I can't believe you came to look again! I'm flattered, honestly. I'll keep doing a lot of these expressionist tablet works, yes. ^.^
I like working with bare, plain skin. The whole human body can be very beautiful and sexy! Colour choice is one of the most difficult parts of these drawings, though. Because I'm not exactly colouring in, and normal skin-tones are boring, I have to choose colours that go together AND that go from light to dark. The only part harder than picking out the colours to use is drawing the bare essentials of the outline. Once the shading and highlighting starts it's all fun!
"You are very detailed by using lines that in themselves are not at all."- I love this. It sums it up so well!
Again, thankyou for your lovely long comment. You actually give me feedback, and you have no idea how glad I am for that. ^_^

Oh, I do love my work. Mostly. Mainly the expressionist stuff. But how can I not love it when I physically put so much of my raw emotion into it?
Your photography is very interesting. I wish I had done photography, now. But I don't think I really have the eye for it, and I enjoy making my art layer by layer instead of through a lens, I guess. Ahwell, each to his own!

I really like this new 'series', so to speak, with things with your tablet. They're simple but very striking, and the colours you use are interested and go very well together. The shading is done pretty much flawlessly, too, which is something I envy, because I can almost NEVER get shading in a picture right.
Good job, Li!

I'm glad you're liking my expressionist stuff! It's so fun to make, I really enjoy it, and even I'm amazed at the finished result. As soon as I can be bothered, I'll take photos of my pastel works that are very similar to these. ^_^
Thankyou for your lovely comment. <3
