This is one of my very first nude works, done a few years ago back in a life drawing class for youths. Back then every one of us was blushing and looking away when the model got undressed, it's really funny when I look back at it. Now you don't think twice. Soon as the clothes are off, the person is lines, curves, tone. They aren't an object, because you need to check every few minutes that they're comfy and such, but they're like... A breathing form. That's all.

So anyways, this piece. Pastels, experimenting with colour tones instead of black and white. Unfortunately I used the yellow as the lightest tone, but the picture is a little confusing because I didn't take into account the white paper is actually lighter than my lightest colour. Though I think this one drawing of mine was a real turning point in my art, if you look at the MS Paint made nudes in my gallery you can see a few where I battle with the "white canvas" problem, until evolving and using a darker, and coloured "canvas" so that my lightest tone really does represent light.

And wow. I love the foreshortening of the right thigh. XD I just noticed.
