Maybe I don't like him because of his weakness... but, lots of people love him and the first version was awful so I painted him again.

He's just way too tormented. I'm sure he would be an awesome person to be around if he weren't so angsty about his vampire condition, lol. Louis is okay but he's definitely much too whiny for me.

Louis. He was my definite fave character in both the movie as book 1. But now; after having read book 2; I changed my mind. I still like him but I don't think he's all that great anymore. I came to understand and like Lestat so much more.
I think you did a splendid job painting him. The thing I like best is the medallion with Claudia's portrait in it.

Beautiful! So lifelike! This is how I imagined Louis. He has that exotic French/Creole look like he is described, and the softness of his demeanor. I am never sure how I feel about Louis either though... He is not brave, but I suppose that isn't something that can be blamed... Who knows.
