We shot this series in a furniture production warehouse. Our friend Jeremy had a helluva lot of interesting scrap lying around... the guy even had airplane seats circa 1980's complete with ashtrays... but yeah thought it would be interesting to give it a kind of industrial-trash feel for the layout.
