Description So. A while back, I started to learn how to use Blender. After a few months lapse, I have now taken the challenge up again. This week (well, the last four days, really) I have taken advantage of a rather spiffing Blender Dalek tutorial on the Dalek Builders' Forum (by stek of the same) to produce, well, this.

And now I'm getting the hang of it, I see no reason at all that I couldn't transfer my NDP model into Blender (well, rebuild it from the ground up in said and aforementioned program).

Now if only I could work out these render settings and get a decent image out of the thing....

Daleks belong to the Terry Nation Estate, etc, etc

Thats excellent coming from as you say a tutorial, it took me forever to build my new series version dalek in lightwave. I'm doing a lightwave version of mechmasters battle dalek at the moment but its slow going. I bet your krotons would be awesome converted or should I say rebuilt in this package, you've clearly got the hang of it.

Thanks. I've just this morning worked out how to do the raised skirt panels of the NDP style Daleks, so there should be nothing stopping me building the whole thing up.

Might be interesting to do the Krotons...Blender would allow me to make things a little more organic than ProEngineer could...
