Well I kind of mention K belongs to race of half-blood known as Karrangle, or also known as Killing Angles, well the latter was mistranslated of "Karrangle" which in Xenamire language as "Half-blood" or "bastard".

(Yeah Xenamire are really arrogant Racist who thought human was nothing but animals and lesser beings, although they did superior in physical and many ways)

Killing Angles, or K.A for short are kind of equivalent in my setting as vampires and hybrid with amazon and succubus, in fact in my setting the legend of vampire in history may base on them. They can drain cells from blood to be fuels in their psychic power and body physics, healing themselves from body damage even served limbs, and they lived longer than human too.

Most of the KA have a kind of lack the ability to fell happiness from ordinary daily life and entertainment, but can only fell joy among dangerous acts and killing animals or human (mostly depend on how danger the battle or smart the prey was), so they usually became bounty huntress or mercenaries to fought all around the Known Galaxy. They did developed some rules, like killing weak people and unarmed person can be consider breaking the rules, also killing too much at one times that could draw attention.

Well for others, some faction like the Church of Altran (we well talk them later) consider KAs as Witches and well do anything the middle age people do to Witches, yeah. Ordinary people often believe they are some kind of vampire or legend monsters, and some claim they were just some fairy-tales. And Krietheans, actually consider KAs as some sort of Valkyrie and somehow worship them for good luck in battle.
