This piece is visually stunning. "Moby Dick" has captured the essence of the experience of reading Herman Melville's classic story. The eye easily latches onto the figure and her study is a good, casual setting that does not distract from the main focus of the piece. One of the most stunning touches is the water and light reflection, subtle enough to give the feeling of being underwater but not overly stimulating. Towards the bottom of the screen it appears darker, so it is difficult to tell whether there are fish lurking in the dark or more hidden objects to catch the viewer's eye. Overall, this is a magical piece of art. It makes me want to "dive" into the story again myself. Well done!
