Description
Not much is known about this gigantic creature that lives deep underground. It's generally classified as a some kind of annelid, but this too is uncertain, as it's based on few unclear photographs and eyewitness accounts.
It is even uncertain whether there is just one of them, as it's generally believed. It's said that it's a survivor of ancient species, the only one left, and that it's thousands of years old.
In any case, what we do know about it is that it is a scavenger that tends to avoid people. Most sightings of it have been in subway tunnels, but it's also cabable of making tunnels of it's own, even in hard rock, although it tends to avoid that when existing tunnels are available.

This is a creature I made for some underground city a while ago, but since I like it I updated it's design a bit more to look more like a real worm. I based a lot of it's design on some polychaetes, even though those are marine worms. And since this creature lives underground, I didn't give it eyes.
